Travel and Schengen Zone Entry Requirements
1. General Information
When booking a ticket, the passenger confirms that they are familiar with the entry requirements for Schengen zone countries and bear full responsibility for having the necessary travel documents.
2. Entry/Exit System (EES)
From October 2025, entry to Schengen zone countries is governed by the Entry/Exit System (EES).
EES is an automated European Union system that:
– records every entry and exit of third-country nationals in an electronic system;
– replaces passport stamps (no stamp is placed in the passport — each entry and exit is recorded electronically);
– automatically tracks the duration of stay;
– flags cases where the permitted period of stay has been exceeded.
On the first entry to the Schengen zone, the passenger must complete full registration:
– scanning of the biometric passport;
– submission of biometric data (fingerprints and photo);
– storage of information in the system.
For subsequent trips, a full re-registration is generally not required.
3. Conditions of Stay
The passenger confirms that they:
– are entitled to visa-free entry or hold a valid visa for Schengen zone countries;
– have the right to travel abroad (for passengers subject to military service obligations);
– will comply with the rule: up to 90 days of stay within any 180-day period;
– have the necessary documents that may be requested by border services:
o proof of the purpose of travel;
o accommodation booking (if required);
o return ticket (if required);
o sufficient financial means.
4. Passenger Liability
The passenger bears full responsibility for:
· the accuracy and validity of their documents;
· the compliance of their documents with the entry requirements of the destination country;
· adherence to the rules of stay in the Schengen zone.
Lev Bus company is not liable for:
· a passenger being denied entry at the border;
· detention or deportation of a passenger;

· transportation of prohibited goods or goods exceeding the permitted quantity by the passenger. If the authorized authorities impose a fine on the driver for such transportation, the passenger is obliged to reimburse Lev Bus in full. In case of refusal to pay the fine, the passenger’s ticket is cancelled without a refund and the passenger does not continue the trip.
5. Refusal of Transportation
The company reserves the right to:
· refuse transportation to a passenger without proper documents;
· refuse transportation to a passenger who is in an aggressive state or shows signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs (strong smell of alcohol, unsteady gait, aggressive behaviour, etc.);
· cancel a booking without a refund in the event of:
– the passenger or the ticket purchaser providing false information;
– absence of the right to enter the Schengen zone or to cross the border.
6. Confirmation
By confirming the booking, the passenger confirms that they:
· are familiar with the entry requirements for the Schengen zone;
· understand how the EES system works;
· confirm that they have all the necessary travel documents, including those required for border crossing;
